The Downtown Plainfield restaurants are back at again for another progressive dinner offering up some great eats. Here's the short, short version: Two tours with 3 different restaurants in each, 3 groups to choose from in each tour, station #1 will be the appetizer/starter - station #2 will be the entree and station #3 will be the dessert. The Vallon Tour (6:30PM start time at restaurant serving appetizers for all groups)

Group A

Appetizer: HopScotch & Vine - Tomato Caprese Tower: Sliced Vine Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, Garlic Olive Oil, Balsamic Glaze

Entree: Opera House - Coq Au Vin: Braised chicken/red wine mushroom demi/onions/horseradish mashed Yukon potatoes

Dessert: MoeJoe's (family style) - King Cake

Group B

Appetizer: Opera House - Stuffed Potatoes: Fried potato shells/blackened filet tips/smoked cheddar cheese/bacon/fried onions/bleu cheese sauce

Entree: MoeJoe's (family style) - Jambalaya, Filet Mignon ala Asa, Red beans & Rice w/ Shrimp, Catfish Acadian

Dessert: HopScotch & Vine - French Baked Apple Tart w/ Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Group C

Appetizer: MoeJoe's (family style) - Gumbo, Corn Crusted Alligator Tail

Entree: HopScotch & Vine - Pork Tenderloin: Garlic & Maple Marinated Pork Tenderloin, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli

Dessert: Opera House - Nutella Banana Waffle w/ Vanilla bean Ice Cream

The McManus Tour (6:30PM start time at restaurant serving appetizers for all groups)

Group A

Appetizer: Mora - Filipino Egg Rolls w/ Pickled Daikon & Carrots Wrapped in Lettuce. Side of Garlic Mignonette Sauce

Entree: Sovereign - Espresso Rubbed Pork Tenderloin, Sweet Corn Puree, Knob Onions, Marbled Hash

Dessert: Wine & Cheese by TCC - Dark Chocolate Cup filled with White Chocolate Mousse topped with a Sour Cherry Chocolate Sauce

Group B

Appetizer: Wine & Cheese by TCC - Mini Cheese & Charcuterie Board: Stuffed Peppadew Peppers, Mixed Olives, Pimento Jam, Honey, Cream of Balsamic, Housemade Spicy IPA Pickles, Marcona Almonds with Crispy Prosciutto, Flatbread Crackers & French Baguette.

Entree: Mora - Crispy Tuna w/ Avocado, N.Y. Strip Topped w/ Truffle Oil Green Onion & Crispy Jalapenos, Agadashi Soup (Red Miso w/Tofu & Clams)

Dessert: Sovereign - Poached Pears, Cherry Marmalade, Candied Pecans, Whip Cream

Group C

Appetizer: Sovereign - Seared Scallops, Red Island Sea Peas, Bacon Relish, Grilled Tomato Aioli

Entree: Wine & Cheese by TCC - Red Wine Braised Short Ribs over Fried Polenta served with Roasted Winter Squash

Dessert: Mora - Rice Pudding: (sweet rice mixed in a reduced coconut milk, topped with cream and drizzled with blueberry sauce)

Tickets are $50 each + eventbrite fee (includes gratuity)

• Transportation is not provided between locations.
